Working on your new home can be very encouraging for your entire family about the move in general. A few places you should locate once you've moved in is the hospital, the school your children will be enrolling in, the post office, pharmacy, dry cleaner, and car repair center. Ideally, you'd want to have a general idea of where these places are before you move to your new home.

During the move, you should have these particular items handy at all times: a fully-charged cell phone, spare change, directions to your new home, and any documents regarding travel arrangements you may have made. Also, be sure to have your mover's direct phone number programmed into your cell, and that the mover has yours.
